The Pakistan Stock Exchange's benchmark KSE-100 index plunged 2,106 points after the starting bell on the first day of the trading week, forcing authorities to halt trading for 45 minutes. The index, which had closed at 38,220 points on Friday, nosedived at the start of the trading, shedding 2,106 Pakistan Stock Exchange noted bullish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 42,000 and currently trading at 41,502 points. On Thursday, Pakistan Stock Exchange's KSE 100-index had crossed 42,480 points with a positive change of 1,080.76 points. A total of 412,354,330 shares were traded compared to the trade 330,740,610 shares during Wednesday. KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange on Friday witnessed bearish trend as KSE-100 index closed at 42, 323 points on the last working day with a negative change of 157 points.
